I've always been a historian, documenting the people and places I love through disposable cameras and a journal. Over the years digital photography has become my medium and after attending photography school I knew I wanted to be a wedding photographer. Documenting images that will be cherished for decades to come gives me goosebumps and makes me feel whole. I can't think of a more satisfying job. I am lucky to be a witness to so much love, family and celebration.
I was raised in Katy, Texas, a place nestled between the big city lights of Houston and quiet farmland. My family is large, diverse and loud. Food and beer are always offered before a proper, "hello, how are you?"
My husband and I met while we were traveling Asia. When he asked me to move back to his hometown of Adelaide, South Australia I said yes because I love him and also because I never say no to new places. Australia is my home and I have discovered why this place is called "The Lucky Country."
In my free time I love up on my fur babies, go on beachy adventures, practice yoga and read books. I love to travel and spend time with friends and family. I am a pretty regular girl with a soft spot for cherished moments. I also am a straight-shooter, which I owe to my Texas roots. I am honest and kind to the people in my life, especially clients who trust me to photograph one of the most epic days of their lives.
That's me in a neat nutshell. Let's meet so I can learn about you and your love story. xo
